Following a steady decline that began in 2462 with several outlying regions seceding, the Delegacy dissolved, leaving behind several successor states and the Lyrisclensian Continuing Council, the de facto standard (albeit not all-inclusive) international diplomatic apparatus. Many members of the Regenelía Assembly went on to participate in various regional governments in the new states.
