Thessian Treaty Organization

The TTO existed from 300 iky to 1 tgc, and served as the primary means by which the nations on Thessia Major conducted diplomacy. Analogous to the United Nations, the TTO was also involved in facilitating immigration, interplanetary and interbrane relations, and the Planar Sentry.

Planar Sentry

The Thessian Planar Sentry was Thet's national security force, tasked above all else with ensuring the integrity of the Tletkars brane itself, which, due to its unique position as a gateway between the Expanse and the rest of the universe was already known to be unusually fragile. Owing mainly to a lack of suitable security forces of comparable authority, the TPS's remit was gradually expanded to include threats that could lead indirectly to damage of the spatio-temporal medium, such as unlicensed traffic from smuggling, violent sedition that might compromise Thessia Major's political stability, and direct assaults on the TPS itself.

The TPS was often accused of being a grisly authoritarian agency.

New Pesenese Union

In the early 28th century iky, strain from on-going rivalries had all but exhausted the TTO's capacity to act as a world government on Thessia Major. Concerned that instability in the Expanse's only gateway to the greater universe could return the region to isolation once more, the Peseneyi stepped forward to administrate a stronger central authority. During its lifetime the NPU was officially still called the TTO, although various appellations such as Pesenese Peacekeeping Organization, New Pesenese Unification Force, and the like were widely recognized (with varying degrees of appreciation and/or resentment) on-planet.

The TTO was dissolved in 3263 after the Identity Crisis, leading to a brief 11 year period where Thessia Major's countries diverged in trade and domestic law. Certain limited international bodies continued to exist with support from individual patron governments, such as the Planar Sentry and the Tletkars Permanent Ethical Tribunal.

Cassiopeian Treaty Organization

The CTO dates to the 56th millennium lky, and was the first major act by the relatively young Hatelese Commonwealth to position itself as a power in international politics. The membership, now commonly known as the Cossipi, is comprised of human species that have been isolated from the greater tapestry of humanity and consequently suffered considerable setbacks in technological and social development. It is still present in Thet, and provides a nurturing scaffold and a sense of cultural unity for a rich spectrum of karyotypic minorities.
