korr, mp. Dubitative/renarrative mood. The event being described has not been confirmed by the speaker or inferred from evidence, but instead is being relayed from others. Used on its own, this is the "reporter" mood: the speaker has no idea if the statement is correct or not, and is not attempting to make a guess at it. Adverbs and tone of voice may suggest the speaker's confidence in their informants; particularly strong inferences may even use lí.
