búlala, n. Vanilla. One of several Terran plants retained and grown by the Ksreskézai for their own use. Vanilla was grown specifically for its fragrance, which they thought was repulsive and made an excellent repellent for wildlife. Consequently, the Lilitai regard it as an emblem of unappreciated beauty.
