Khshk
Pseudoelrathia ghontii
At home in Ghont, the Khshk were a recently-speciated group that the Tletkettoyi sent to the front between Ksreskézaian and Hogedepi territory in the earliest parts of the Grand War, before their society underwent the changes that would ultimately lead to their complete isolation. The Khshk defected to a loose neutrality with the Oksi, having learned too much about their rivals to continue following doctrine.

Although they continued their general cultural practice of isolationism, their policy was one of mutual non-aggression, which the Ksreskézai generally honoured. The Hogedep saw no distinction between the Khshk and the Tletkettoyi, however, and often fought them, unsuccessfully, as the Khshk had access to certain Khúsak technology that they had obtained in Hobala.

The Khshk speciated early enough in the progression of Tletkettoyic society toward complete dependence on the TMF that they survived the event that exterminated their cousins, and records exist of the Lilitai, Peseneyi, and other cultures trading with them for centuries thereafter. However, they did eventually lose to the Hogedep, being killed to the last individual by chemical warfare in 947 lilpo, centuries before the Hogedep attempted a direct assault on Tletkars. Had the Khshk never betrayed their homeworld, most historians agree that the Hogedep would have learned immediately of the demise of the Tletkettoyi and taken their former territory in the course of their expansion in the early postwar years, despite the formidable automated weapons that discouraged any inquest.
