The Tletkettoyi covertly destroyed a Khúsak diplomatic vessel early in this year, causing a breakdown in the arbitration process between the Hogedep and Ksreskézai. Throughout the rest of the year they systematically destroyed Khúsak outposts and colonies until the species was extinct in mid-4981. At this time, neither the Hogedep nor the Ksreskézai knew of the existence of the Tletketti; within six years, war had broken out between the two superpowers.
