íré, v. To have; to possess. The resemblance to -ir is not coincidental; early in Lilitika's development, íré was an auxiliary verb used to mark the past tense. The meaning was that the speaker had knowledge or memory of something happening, a sense that survived in the lú mood particle briefly before it watered down to mean 'inferred from evidence' and not 'inferred from personal recollection.' This makes translation confusing, as íré never is used as an auxiliary for the perfect aspect, only the past tense. The common suffix -ireshkí is the only surviving usage of íré as a past auxiliary, and does not actually include a perfect aspect in its meaning, despite the natural translation into English.
