flovipúé, v. To throw. In the context of combat, this is said especially of a spear, stone, or grenade. The word may more generally mean to propel something in an arcing motion, although it has largely been displaced by the less-violent-sounding floé.

floé, v. To arc, toss, throw, or cause to round a corner in a wide curve. Often used reflexively: Uvíau floihíta sandes ete stelai, "Myself I threw around the people."
