usage: Much as the adverbial or interjectional form of "now" in English, but with more of a processional inclination than a temporal one. This is convenient for translating idiomatic, emphatic usages of "now" such as when specifying urgency or reprimanding a child. Use the adverb otaléú or otalai when literally specifying that the verb applies to something happening in the present ("I want to go to the store otalyadis" or "Go to the store, otalyadis!") but dzuvê when remarking on the state of affairs ("Dzuvê that's just silly," or "Dzuvê we can't do anything.") It is considered a bad habit to use both dzuvê and otalai at the same time: "Dzuvê we can go otalyadis."
