arbitrate.

zelaisithé, v. To arbitrate, mediate, or judge a debate.

usage: This is one of the few verbs that requires usage of the particle: the decision or outcome is marked with the terminative case, the audience is marked with the dative case, and the positions are marked as the egressive case. Participants may either be marked egressive, dative, or ablative, depending on the arbitrator's activeness: to arbitrate from two sources is to think and listen, but to arbitrate to two sources is to decide and render judgment. Participants in the egressive case are those identified as inseparable from their positions, and is a special form of placing them in the ablative.

etymology: Formed from zel- + haisithé.
