kwedzin, m. Why.

usage: Usually appended after verb, before dí, in a question: Sa olíel vis kwedzin dí? "Why am I here?" It can also be used on its own, in which case it renders a sentence into 'the reason for ...', and is particularly useful with subclauses, e.g. sa tsé ra elé sariris kwedzin woisis, "I know why you did that." Or even more tersely, sa tsé kwedzin woisis, "I know why," without an actual subclause being stated.
