stíu, n. Writing tool; feather; human hair. La. Also (as 'stíe', an irregular plural noun shortened from 'stíete'), the suit of Quills used in Lilitic Playing Cards. The Oksete believed human hair was a fragile, unbranching cousin of the feather, and so while both a human head and Oksian feather have many khrimei, each human stía only has one.
